Challenge

In July 2023, Customer called from Kansas and had renters living at this property. She had existing french drains, 2 sump pumps but was not sure they worked property and wanted to get everything in working condition before the rains and potentially selling the property.  James presented her with his solution to help with ground seepage and hydrostatic water intrusion, she wanted to think about it. In September 2023 she wanted to start the work.

Solution

We were able to solve the problem with the materials used from Basement System. 

1. Ground water mitigation using 3" perforated pipe buried in rocks/fabric.

2. Install drainage matting full floors

3. Crawlspace Sump pump system 2x2x2 excavation low spot 1/3hp zoheler, with power

4. Battery back up sump pump DC power with AC power inverter 2100gph capacity

5. 1 1/2" Discharge line to storm drains from sump pump in crawlspace 30-40

6.  Crawlspace encapsulation system full floor and walls

7. Installation of sani-dry Sedona stand alone dehumidifier 95 pt per day unit

8. Installation of R-tech 

Customer was very pleased and has not had any issues during the rains.
